The Kimberly Baseball Organization (KBO) provides recreational and competitive baseball opportunities for youth ages 13 thru U16/U17/Varsity Legion. The KBO programs are for students who reside within the boundaries of the Kimberly Area School District.
In 2010, the age of the participants will be the player's age as of April 30, 2010 for the 13-Pony League and January 1, 2010 for the 14-Tri-County and U16 JV Legion, U17 JV Legion, and Varsity Legion Leagues.
¨Youth Program Hat - $15.00 – All youth players are required to wear KBO hats. Hats may be purchased at registration, or hats from previous years may be worn (U16 & U17, Varsity use their HS hats)
¨Age 13 - Pony League Teams - $75 – All 13 year olds are eligible to try out for the Pony League teams. The Pony teams play other communities on week nights. There will be two Pony teams if numbers permit.
¨Age 14 - Tri-County League Teams - $80 - All 14 year olds that are eligible may tryout for the Tri-County League teams. These teams also play in other communities on week nights. The number of teams hosted at each age level will be based on the registrations.
¨Age 15 - will be playing in the U16 Legion Teams - $100 - All 15 year olds will be asked to play in the U16 Legion Team selected from the Freshman and Junior Varsity High School Teams. These teams also play in other communities on week nights against U16 and U17 Legion Teams. There is only one U16 and one U17 Team.
¨Age 13-14-15 Recreation League $50.00 – Players not interested in the League team tryouts or those who do not make the Pony or Tri-County teams can play in the recreation league. Please circle T-Shirt size for Recreation League, all sizes are adult: MEDIUM - LARGE - XL - XXL
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact us at kimberlybaseball@yahoo.com. One of the KBO board members will call you to discuss the meeting information with you. Mail in registrations will not be completed until you have been informed of the parent meeting information. After MARCH 12, 2010 registration fees increase by $25.00 and are only accepted if there are openings available.

We/I knowingly and voluntarily waive any and all claims and forever release the Organization, its Board Members, Officers, Agents, Coaches, Sponsors, and Volunteers for any and all injuries sustained by our/my child while participating, whether it be in a practice session, in competition, or while being transported to either of the aforementioned. Our/My signature below will allow a coach to admit our/my child to a medical facility and/or the care of a physician if conditions warrant such action. The players and parents understand that items issued to players are the player's responsibility. Items such as uniforms, not returned to the coaches at the end of the season will be billed at cost.
